Main Responsibilities:

GSRS Site

·        Suggesting the rules and regulations and systems for post graduate studies in the university faculties and institutes.

·        Supervising the application of the confirmed rules and regulations for post graduate studies in the university, and giving technical assistance in the process of application, improving its quality and overcoming problems which might face it.

·        Working on designing a comprehensive system for admission and registration affairs, documentation and required forms, and applying it to the university faculties and institutes.

·        Supervising the procedure for granting the Masters and PhD degrees certificates, and higher studies diploma certificates from the university.

·        Supervising the activities related to the Foreign Students Missions for Post Graduate Studies in faculties and institutes.

·        Revising the temporary certificates and the original certificates for post graduate students in the university faculties and institutes.

·        Supervising the issuance of the original certificates for granting pot graduate degrees (Diplomas – Masters – PhD’s).

·        Participation in the technical preparations for the meetings of the Council for Post Graduate Studies concerning the educational system and exams affairs, and preparing the required information during those meetings.

·        Following up the execution procedures for applying the decisions of the Council concerning post graduate studies.   

·        Supervising the preparation of periodical reports for the University Vice President for post graduate studies concerning the conditions of post graduate studies in the faculties and institutes.

·        Following the developments that took place globally in the systems and programs for post graduate studies, and suggest what could be applied locally.

·        Supervising the analysis of the Masters and PhD’s theses that are granted by faculties and institutes.

·         Primary Technical and Financial study to be presented to the concerned Councils for follow up and announcement among Faculties and concerned sectors.

Financial Affairs Division

Handling Financial Affairs as follows:

·         Article (3) Research & Experiments Services (Paying the dues of Prof. Dr. Ehab Ismail Gift) – following up the financial reports of the research projects (Research projects & young adult graduates’ projects)

·         Paying the cost for publishing researches in the international scientific fields.

·         Paying the financial dues of students participating in post graduate studies.

·         Primary technical and financial study to be presented to the concerned councils for follow up and announcement in faculties and concerned sectors.

Administration Affairs

 Division

2 Handling the administration affairs as follows:

·         Following up attendance and holidays – Appling the University decisions concerning the employees – Paying employees incentives for publishing Masters and PhD’s Thesis for all Faculties and Institutes –providing the administration’s needs – Printing material  for the administration divisions and following up the maintenance of the photocopying machines.

·         Primary Technical and Financial study to be presented to the concerned Councils for follow up and announcement between Colleges and concerned sectors.

Marketing Scientific

Projects & Organizations

4 Handling the Marketing for Scientific Projects & Organizations:  

·         Marketing research Projects – preparing the committees for scientific projects & organizations – following up the committee’s meetings.

·         Primary technical and financial study to be presented to the concerned councils for follow up and announcement.

Training Courses Division 2 Handling the Training Courses as follows:

·         Conducting training courses in the Faculty of Agriculture– Pharmacology and Nursing for those who are interested from the universities, organizations and sectors – General Issues.

·         Primary Technical and Financial study to be presented to the concerned Councils for follow up and announcement among Faculties and concerned sectors.

Handling Information Systems Affairs as follows:

·         Registering all what concerns all the Administration Divisions – Registering Database for (University Faculty Staff Members – Research Projects – Research Plan – Scientific Thesis) and conducting training courses.

·         Primary Technical and Financial study to be presented to the concerned Councils for follow up and announcement among Faculties and concerned sectors.
