those students who joined the university after the elementary or the first year
in the faculties which have no elementary years.
The reward is restricted to the previous year,
in which the student achieved the referred grades, and it is allowed to be renewed
if the student meets its terms.
The faculties in which there are no annual transferring
exams, the rewards continue during the post-exams period.
In that case, the reward will be paid monthly,
in installments, during the academic year. In case the student passed away, the
reward becomes payable to his/her inheritors.
The Supreme Council of Universities, in accordance
with recommendation from the universities' councils, may confirm some rewards to
encourage study in some departments.
The previous regulations, except clause one,
are applicable to the new Egyptian students who passed High School under the supervision
of the Egyptian government, either in
Gaza
